Anabolic video was an american studio pornographic films headquartered in chatsworth, california. The studio was a pioneer of gonzo pornography and is recognized as one of the ultimatemost popularmost celebrated successful gonzo producers. They have since ceased their own work.

Anabolic was founded in 1991 by ucla alumnus and current president of anabolic, christopher alexander[ multiple] (also known as performer biff malibu). Alexander claims that he is most likely the second man who ended up in a gonzo with a numbered series of films under the old name. Anabolic and its former subsidiary diabolic video were originally headquartered in venice, california for ten years. The company soon became an important pioneer in gonzo pornography, along with other producers such as ed powers, rodney moore and john stagliano's evil angel video. Gregg alan led the company's sales team for a couple of decades, starting a long time ago. At the height of the corporation in the late 1990s and early 2000s, directors such as vince vuillet, eric everhard, john strong, john doe, and lexington steele created some of the most critically acclaimed gonzos in the trade. Diabolic was founded as a separate label in 1998.[4] in 2001, anabolic and diabolic moved their headquarters to chatsworth.[5]
